The Language Circle is a small language school that provides a great deal of personalized attention. We are located in Hamilton, Ontario, 50 minutes by car from Toronto and Niagara Falls. The Language Circle offers full-time Intensive English classes at basic, intermediate and advanced levels with an average of 5 adult students in a class.

When we receive your fees, we will send you a letter of acceptance which you can take to the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate if you require a visa to enter Canada.
*Students should plan to arrive 3 to 4
days prior to their start date in order to be tested for
level. There is an additional fee of $50.00 for weekend
testing.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
1. Vacation Policy:Please note that you are registering for consecutive weeks. There are no vacations allowed for short-term students. Long-term students who register for 6 months or more may take a vacation (maximum 3 weeks) after the first 3 months. Students must notify the school at least 2 weeks in advance.
2. Airport Reception:
If you wish airport reception, you must request it at the time of registration and pay for it in advance. Otherwise we suggest you make your own reservations with Airways Transit at: or go to their desk at the airport when you arrive.
Due to recent increases in airport security, students should allow AT LEAST 2 HOURS between flights. Otherwise, students risk missing their connection.
3. Testing:
You must arrive in time to be tested for level - at the latest on the Friday before you start classes. Testing times are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
4. Homestay Accommodation:
Homestay accommodation is for full-time students only. Students can enter their homestays on the Thursday or Friday before starting classes and must leave on the Saturday after completing their studies. However, if students leave their homestay to travel, and wish to return to the same homestay, they must pay homestay fees while travelling..
5. Medical Insurance
It is strongly recommended that all students have medical insurance. However, students in homestay accommodation must be insured. Students can get insurance coverage from an insurance agent in their home countries or through our school. Students in homestay must show proof of insurance upon arrival.

If you wish to study less than 3 months,
you may send a $100.00 CDN (non-refundable) administrative
fee as a deposit. If you require homestay, you must also
send a homestay placement fee of $100.00 CDN. This deposit
must be received at least 2 weeks prior to your course start
date. Airport reception ($150.00 CDN) and medical insurance
($60.00 CDN per month), if requested, must also be sent with
the deposit. |
| Option 3. |
If you wish to study longer than 3
months and require a student visa, you must send tuition for
3 months and fees for any other services required (for
example, homestay, airport reception, insurance) during the
first three months. After that, the balance can be paid on a
monthly basis. |

Refund Policy |
The Language Circle offers refunds to students in the following situations. Please note that if you enroll through a representative, you must collect your refund through that representative.

| 1. Inability to enter Canada |
If students are refused entry to Canada by Immigration Canada, they are entitled to a full refund minus a $100.00 CDN administrative fee. To qualify for this refund, a student must return the Letter of Acceptance and send a copy of Immigration Canada's Letter of Rejection with a written request for refund to The Language Circle before the course start date. The Language Circle cannot be held responsible if any student fails to obtain appropriate documentation for entering Canada.

| 2. Cancellation |
If students wish to withdraw before coming to Canada, they must send the original Letter of Acceptance and a written request for refund to The Language Circle. Students will receive a full refund of prepaid fees minus the non-refundable administrative fee, the homestay placement fee if homestay has been requested, and a cancellation fee of $150.00 CDN.

| 3. Postponing the start date |
If students have prepaid their fees and wish to postpone their start date, they must contact The Language Circle in writing as early as possible. If this notification does not reach the school 14 days before the original start date, the first weeks tuition will be applied at the discretion of the administration.

After Starting a Course

There are no refunds for the first 4 weeks once the course has begun. After that, The Language Circle requires ten days notice in writing. The balance of a student's fees, minus a cancellation fee of $150.00 CDN, will be refunded. In the case of a student on a student visa, the balance, minus the cancellation fee, will be sent to the school where the student will continue studying. A copy of the letter of acceptance from the new school will be required. If students have registered through an agent, the agent's commission will be deducted.
