Our ESL classes are organized in weekly modules so that new students can begin studying in their appropriate level on any Monday. However, students must register in advance since class size is limited. The Language Circle must receive a student's fees and registration form at least a week prior to the student's start date.
INTENSIVE ENGLISH COURSE Offered year-round, full-time (25 hours per week): basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Study English in small groups of adults (over 18 years of age): average 5 students in a class. Improve all language skills with the help of qualified, experienced teachers: conversation, listening, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing.

This course brings the real world into the ESL classroom!!
| We use authentic materials to discuss areas of interest; for example, business, current events, T.V., movies, and music. Moreover, The Language Circle invites Canadians to the school once a week to have real conversations with our students. Students get a chance to use what they have learned.

testing (written and oral) to assess level, needs and progress focus on speaking skills through group work, pair work, debates and presentations use of authentic TV and radio materials to improve listening skills vocabulary development
language games and activities
access to computerized programs
trips and cultural activities as part of the regular program included at no extra cost

Study Tour Program
Offered from May to September: Study with an experienced teacher in a relaxed atmosphere: 10 hours in class/week (maximum class size: 10 students) and 20 hours touring/week (minimum group size: 6 students).
Improve speaking, listening, reading, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary skills through intensive classroom instruction.
Practice speaking and listening during teacher-accompanied tours of southern Ontario, including Niagara Falls and Toronto. |
Custom-Designed English for All Ages
Programs for all ages are offered throughout the year. You can request: private lessons or small study groups short-stay or long term courses courses for special interests or special needs: TOEFL, TOEIC, business, sports, vacation programs and more
Please note that the school is closed on all official holidays.
In 2001 the holidays will be January 1, April 13, May 2, July 2, August 6, September 3, and October 8. When official holidays occur on Monday, classes start on Tuesday. The school will be closed for the Christmas holidays from December 23, 1999 to January 7, 2001. |
