1. complete and submit the application.
2. Submit a copy of a valid high school diploma or post-secondary degree. Those who do not have a high school diploma must be at least 19 years of age and must complete and submit the entrance test. This should only be done after we have received the student's application and have determined the student is eligible.
3. The student will be accepted to the college if the application meets the entrance criteria for college level students and have passed the entrance test. You will be notified by email of conditional acceptance, subject to the college receiving the appropriate deposit.
4. Complete the enrollment agreement and send it to the institute along with the deposit.
5. VISA students will be provided with a formal letter of acceptance once they have submitted the application along with any supporting documents to the college and have paid the deposit. The acceptance letter will provide all the information required by the Canadian Consulate in your country.
To be admitted to any Diamond Institute diploma program, the following specific requirements must be met regarding age, prior education and demonstrated proficiency in the basic skills required for college level work. Each applicant must be a high school graduate or have a diploma/degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or be considered a mature student. The diploma or transcript documenting the applicant's educational achievement must be provided for the student's file before classes begin unless the institute grants an extension.
Each applicant must demonstrate proficiency in basic skills and specific prerequisites. This will be demonstrated through the provision of the items mentioned above, and meeting the appropriate English requirement. Proficiency may also be evidenced by attainment of appropriate scores on the Diamond Institute administered tests for the program for which the student is applying. Students requesting credit for prior post-secondary education must submit transcripts (in English) before registration.
All applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency. Applicants born outside Canada must show proof of citizenship, landed immigrant status or a student Visa.
This hand-on diploma trains participants to provide effective front line hardware or software support to a variety of PC users. General skill areas include diagnosing problems, installations, upgrades, conversions of sofware and hardware. All students will study personal business skills, basic networking and data analysis. The network skills learned in this program include: Microsoft Network, CISCO networking and Network Security. Upon completion of this diploma, students will be prepared for a variety of industry certifications.

This program provides students with the relevant training and opportunities to enter the job market is skill areas that are in high demand. The general skills developed through the program are diagnosis, installations, upgrades, conversions, LAN support, resolving warranty/service issues and coordinating purchases and training. There is specific emphasis on preparing students to challenge a variety of certification exams. You may also choose to add a specialty to this program (10 months or more in addition to base 36 weeks).

In this diploma program, students will blend a broad business background with an information systems specialty. The program will be completed in four parts. Students will take core subjects in part one. The second part will focus on Information systems core subjects. Part three and four focus on specialized training in business and information systems. Students who previously completed Business programs or Information Systems programs may qualify for advanced credit.
