How to Register

1. complete and submit the application.

2. Submit a copy of a valid high school diploma or post-secondary degree.  Those who do not have a high school diploma must be at least 19 years of age and must complete and submit the entrance test.  This should only be done after we have received the student's application and have determined the student is eligible.

3. The student will be accepted to the college if the application meets the entrance criteria for college level students and have passed the entrance test.  You will be notified by email of conditional acceptance, subject to the college receiving the appropriate deposit.

4. Complete the enrollment agreement and send it to the institute along with the deposit.

5. VISA students will be provided with a formal letter of acceptance once they have submitted the application along with any supporting documents to the college and have paid the deposit.  The acceptance letter will provide all the information required by the Canadian Consulate in your country.

Registration and Admission Policy

To be admitted to any Diamond Institute diploma program, the following specific requirements must be met regarding age, prior education and demonstrated proficiency in the basic skills required for college level work.  Each applicant must be a high school graduate or have a diploma/degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or be considered a mature student.  The diploma or transcript documenting the applicant's educational achievement must be provided for the student's file before classes begin unless the institute grants an extension.

Each applicant must demonstrate proficiency in basic skills and specific prerequisites.  This will be demonstrated through the provision of the items mentioned above, and meeting the appropriate English requirement.  Proficiency may also be evidenced by attainment of appropriate scores on the Diamond Institute administered tests for the program for which the student is applying.  Students requesting credit for prior post-secondary education must submit transcripts (in English) before registration.

All applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency.  Applicants born outside Canada must show proof of citizenship,  landed immigrant status or a student Visa.
